John Scavo is the Founder and Managing Director of Crystal Cove Capital Markets, an independent advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, real estate capital markets, joint venture advisory, bridge loan advisory, private capital placement, and strategic financial advisory.

John advises private companies, developers, sponsors, and investors on strategic transactions ranging from acquisitions and dispositions to complex equity and debt financings. His practice includes raising LP equity, co-GP capital, preferred equity, senior and bridge debt, construction financing, and structuring institutional joint ventures.

In addition to leading Crystal Cove Capital Markets, John serves as Director of Finance and Capital Markets for Hunter Financial's Credit Card Rate Lending, a specialty finance company and private debt fund focused on originating and acquiring consumer credit assets.

John is a Registered Representative affiliated with Finalis Securities LLC and holds the Securities Industry Essentials, Series 79, Series 82, and Series 63 licenses. He earned his degree in Economics from the University of Southern California, where he was recognized as a Presidential Scholar.
